- Rank is your running total
- Every payment made for a site is added to that site's total. Rank is the order of those totals, highest first. Paying again always moves you up; it never resets.
- Ties go to whoever got there first
- If two sites hold the same total, the one that reached it earlier ranks higher.
- You are never bidding for one specific spot
- You send an amount; the board sorts itself. If somebody pays more while your payment is going through, you land below them instead of losing the payment. Passing the handle above you costs $1.00 more than its total.
- Minimum payment
- $1.00. Card processing costs a flat fee per payment, and below this the fee eats most of what you paid.
- Payments go through Polar
- Polar is the merchant of record: it takes the card details, charges the card and handles sales tax. We never see your card. Your statement shows Polar, not us.
- Tax is not counted toward your rank
- Sales tax varies by country. Only the amount that goes toward the listing counts, so two people who spend the same rank the same wherever they live.
- Refunds come back off the board
- We do not offer refunds — being passed a minute later is the game, not a fault. But if a payment is refunded or charged back for any reason, that amount is subtracted from that site's total and its rank falls accordingly. A reversed payment buys nothing.
- Ownership is not verified
- Anyone can pay to list any site, and a listing is not an endorsement. One listing per domain: every page of a site counts toward the same row. If a site is yours and you want it off the board, write to us and it comes off. No refund is issued to whoever paid for it.
- What gets removed
- Malware, phishing, illegal content, and sites impersonating someone else. Removal does not return the money.
- If your payment does not show up
- It will. A job checks Polar every minute and settles payments whose confirmation never reached us — including when you closed the tab. If an hour passes, send the receipt from your email.
